阅读课教学设计
英语阅读教学在英语教学中占有举足轻重的位置,撰写教学设计和试讲也是近年来教招考试中出现频率较高的考查形式,能够测出考生的语言功底和表达能力。故设计好一堂阅读课是考生在面试中取得成功的*一步。本文以外研版八年级上Module 3 Unit 3 Language in use阅读课为例进行教学设计,该教学设计以学生的现实生活为出发点和归宿点,旨在发挥学生的实际语言运用能力。
Teaching aims:
Knowledge aims:
Students can grasp some vocabulary, such as jogging, comfortable, the adj+er, the adj+er
Ability aims:
Students can use skimming skills to get the main idea of the short passage and use the scanning skills to get some specific information.
Students will express their opinions on sports.
Emotional aims:
Students will have correct attitude toward sports.
Teaching key points and difficult points:
Key points:
Students can master some key words and phrases and practice their reading ability.
Difficult points:
Students can introduce their favorite sports to their classmates.
Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Lead-in
Greet students and ask students a question “what sports do you usually do at weekends?”
(Justification: Free talk can activate the atmosphere of the class, and the topic is related to students’ life, they are willing to express their ideas.)
Step 2 Pre-reading
(1)Introduce new words and phrases to students by pictures or explanation.
(Justification: This step helps students clear obstacles in reading comprehension, so students can understand the short passage easily.)
(2)Let students guess what we will learn today.
(Justification: This activity can help students develop their prediction ability, and arouse interest in learn this lesson.)
Step 3 While-reading
1. Fast reading
Read the passage quickly and check students’ prediction.
(Justification: Students can know the main idea of the passage quickly.)
2. Careful reading
Read the passage again and fill in following blanks.
1. Jogging means_________________________________________.
2. Walk is ____________________________________than jogging.
3.To start jogging, you only need some________________________.
4. Jogging in the countryside is ____________than jogging in the city.
5. The more you go jogging, _______________________ you will feel.
(Justification:This activity can also develop students’ scanning skills to grasp the detailed information.)
